Our New Virtual Learning Platform!
We've been listening carefully to our educator and student network. In response to the valuable feedback you have shared with us, we have designed a new Virtual Learning platform featuring new content and processes, anchored in three relevant social causes.
This new platform was created around our signature design thinking framework: Feel, Imagine, Do, Share and features opportunities to engage students virtually and in-person.
Why These 3 Themes?
We had the opportunity to connect with students and educators from across the country - to hear more about the realities they are facing, from their unique perspectives. Students and educators, shared their thoughts around the purpose of education and the issues that spark the most passion. Three themes emerged from these conversations: Racial Justice, Educational Equity and Climate Action. The connection between the above mentioned themes, demands our immediate attention and urgent focus on the types of conversations we are having in school, in our communities, and at home.
Check out our Covid-19 Student Reflections Podcast to hear students express their experiences in their own words!
As we continue to experience the impacts of racism, disparities in education, and the consequences of climate change, we are even more certain that the bold, innovative changes our world demands will be led by young people!
For Today's New World
The world of teaching and learning looks different right now. As schools navigate in-person, hybrid and virtual models, we have created a self guided and adaptable platform to best meet the needs of both students and educators. Our new platform provides an engaging way for students to move through Feel, Imagine, Do and Share process, creating meaningful change in their own communities!
Below are a few key features:
- Extensive library of empathy-building resources, podcasts and articles
- Virtual and self-guided activities for students
- Synchronous and asynchronous engagement
- Accessible via smartphone or laptop
We can't wait to hear what you think! #BetterTogether
